Los Angeles, September 19, 2019Internationally acclaimed comedian, actor and producer Eugenio Derbez and actress and hostess Jacky Bracamontes, one of the most prominent celebrities in Latin American entertainment, will host, for the first time ever, the Latin American Music Awards” (Latin AMAs) 2019 on Telemundo which will broadcast live on October 17 from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Tickets are already on sale at Ticketmaster and at the Dolby Theatre box office.

With their indisputable talent, these two Mexican artists, who have starred in successful international films and television series, will bring theLatin AMAs” awards ceremony to life, to showcase performances by artists in English and Spanish.

Film and television actor, writer, director and producer Eugenio Derbez, born in Mexico City, is believed to be one of the most influential creative forces in Latin America and one of the most celebrated actors in the U.S. Latino community.

As the creator of the series "La Familia P. Luche" and lead actor on film productions like "Instructions Not Included," Derbez has rocketed to international stardom in a very short period of time. Variety magazine named him the most influential Hispanic man in entertainment, and he has been considered the #1 Influencer on Mexican social networks during the last two years.

He recently co-starred with Anna Faris in the remake of the romantic classic “Overboard” by MGM/Lionsgate. Derbez was the producer of the film through his own production company 3Pas Studios. Previously, the famous actor produced and directed the successful comedy “How to be a Latin Lover,” starring Salma Hayek, Rob Lowe, Kristen Bell, and Raquel Welch. The film is being featured in many countries around the world and a television series about the story is currently under production.

But without a doubt, the film “Instructions Not Included,” which he not only directed but also co-wrote, became the most successful Spanish-language movie in U.S. history. Meanwhile, the film broke multiple box office records around the world, reaching over $100 million dollars in sales.

As a producer, Derbez and 3Pas Studios have a broad array of films and television shows under their belt, including "Y cómo es él" starring Omar Chaparro and Mauricio Ochmann, to be launched in 2020. As for television, 3Pas will soon launch the second season of its unscripted comedy gameshow "LOL: Last One Laughing," with Derbez as its host, and produced for Amazon.

Derbez can now be seen on Paramount’s “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” starring Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, and Isabela Moner and directed by James Bobin; as well as on Sony’s “The Angry Birds Movie” 2, alongside Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage. In addition, starting October 18th, Eugenio Derbez and his entire family embark on an exotic adventure through Morocco in Pantaya’s first unscripted original series “De Viaje Con Los Derbez” (Derbez Family Vacation)., which will stream in the U.S. on Pantaya and internationally on Amazon Prime Video.

Hostess and actress Jacky Bracamontes, a native of Guadalajara, Mexico, is one of the most influential celebrities in Latin America. The Mexican star has hosted some of the most renowned Spanish-language television events, including ‘Premios TVyNovelas” and five seasons of "La Voz" Mexico.

Last year, she joined Telemundo as the host of sports and entertainment show "Viva el Mundial y Más" (Long Live the World Cup and More), offering coverage of all of the events and most up-to-date topics surrounding the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup™. This year, the former beauty queen returned to the Telemundo screen to host “La Voz,” the first U.S. Spanish-language version of the NBC hit show, “The Voice.”

Throughout her highly regarded career, she has starred in several successful 'novelas' like “Las Tontas No Van al Cielo”, “Heridas de Amor”, “Sortilegio,” and “Un Padre No Tan Padre,” among others, in addition to hosting several shows and numerous specials for Spanish-language television.
