Mark Binke serves as Executive Vice President, Production, Universal Content Productions. He is responsible for all aspects of production for UCP. Current series include Golden Globe winner “Mr. Robot,” “Dirty John,” “The Sinner” and “Briarpatch” on USA;  “The Magicians” and “Resident Alien” on SYFY; “The Umbrella Academy” on Netflix; “The Act” on Hulu” and “Homecoming” on Amazon. Binke has over 25 years of union and non-union production experience with scripted and un-scripted programming filmed on location internationally and domestically.
Prior to his current role, Binke was with Universal Television Studios (UTV) as Senior Vice President, Production and Alternative Program Development, where he oversaw and spearheaded a studio-wide initiative to reduce costs by capitalizing on tax incentive locales and utilizing new technologies for increased production value and efficiency. Previously, he worked in South East Asia as Senior Vice President, Production for UTV International.
Before joining NBCUniversal, Binke was Senior Vice President of Production at Vidyah/Knowledge Universe, where he oversaw production initiatives that developed e-learning content and technology platforms. He began his television career at MTV. Binke graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications.
